~*~*~STORY ( 450 words)~*~*~

It was Samuel and Wickeds second race, but Samuel was still nervous. He went to bed very soon, because he knew at midnight he had to be at the Elshu Tunnel to be ready for the start at 1.am. But he didn't sleept well...

At 11.pm he was almost glad to stand up and put all the things together for the race. Wicked liked the midnight action as less as Samuel and it was a little complicated to get him into the trailer.
Samuel needed alot of goodies and nice words, but finaly Wicked moved his stubborn head into the trailer.

At midnight Samuel and Wicked where standing infront of the start and Samuel checked the tack another time. "How can it be so hot at midnight?" Samuel looked at Wicked.
Wicked was not impressed of the weather at all and just looked angry at everyone and everything around, as if they where the reason that he could not sleep now...
Samuel tried to calm down and relax, while he check the tack another time. Wicked didn't like that at all and growled.
"I am sorry Boy, i am just nervous and this heat makes my head a little dizzy... I am glad that the race isn't that far. In this clothing i would die while a long ride."
Samuel wiped some sweat from his brow.
In this Moment another Shedurider arrived at the start, with a wonderful, black Shedu. The cat had incredible furmarks and his eyes looked like there where glowing blue.
"Wow." Samuel could not resist to walk to the beautiful cat. The other rider saw him and greeted him friendly. "Hey." - "Hi, my name is Samuel Warren, this is Wicked and we are joning the tube race as well."
The other rider smiled. " I am Juan Elsevier and this beautiful cat is Pitch Black." - he pointed at the silent cat, but the shedu showed no reaction. He just looked at Samuel and Wicked.
Now Samuel realized, that Wicked was surprisely silent too... He stood there, not very friendly, but he did not growl or anything.
"Pitch Black is realy impressiv." Samuel sayed and looked in his blue eyes. "Even Wicked seems like he is not sure how to react to this cat." Samuel laughed, sayed good bye to Juan and his black shedu and wished them a good race.

A few Moments ago all riders stand at there startingmarks. Samuel put his helmed on and took a deep breath. He felt the body of Wicked under him and had the weird feeling that he was a little bit less angry than befor, but if that was good or bad for the race, he just would find out.
